NSW Senate: Rachel Evans
Rachel Evans was one of the founders of the grassroots marriage equality campaign in Sydney, and is a journalist with Green Left. She is a disability support worker and education student.
She helped set up the Water for Rivers group, which helped bring the fight for water rights for First Nations communities in regional NSW to the city.
She is active in the defend public housing campaign, which is fighting off demolition threats in inner city suburbs of Glebe and Eveleigh.
She supports feminist and trans rights campaigning in NSW against the misnamed religious freedoms bills.
Rachel is running for the NSW Senate, with Paula Sanchez and Niko Leka.
