Join Socialist Alliance today

Socialist Alliance received its highest ever vote in the 2025 election, showing there is growing support for class-based policies which put people and the planet’s needs first.
Socialist Alliance Merri-bek councillor Sue Bolton, who received a 5.20% swing in the tightly contested seat of Wills, urges those who support socialism and want to build the extra-parliamentary social and ecological movements to sign up now with Socialist Alliance.
SA first registered federally when we formed in 2001, and we are currently also registered in NSW.
Socialist Alliance has branches in Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Geelong, Melbourne, Newcastle, Boorloo (Perth), Sydney and is active in the Blue Mountains, Northern Rivers and Armidale.
We are involved in campaigns for workers’ rights, women’s rights, justice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, for refugees and against racism, and we help build solidarity with those fighting oppression, such as Palestine.
We are seeking state registration in Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria and Queensland.
We know that just having an electoral platform won’t bring the changes we’re after, but it would help empower the grassroots movements that can.
