Join Socialist Alliance

Socialist Alliance is an ecosocialist party fighting for a society where people and the planet come before profits.

Our members are active in campaigns for workers' rights, for women's rights, justice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, for refugees and against racism and more. We help build international solidarity with the oppressed.

We also contest elections to help get our anti-capitalist message out.

You don't have to be on the electoral roll or be an Australian citizen to join the party, but if you are your membership will help us retain our electoral registration (check your enrolment). 

Any individual who broadly agrees with the aims and objectives of the Socialist Alliance and agrees to participate in the co-operative spirit of the Alliance is eligible to join.

We have several membership options. No matter which option you choose, you can still take part in our activities, utilise your skills and help us in many other ways.

Non-financial member: To join for free fill out the form below. You can still be involved in our party activities even if you're not paying a fee.

Financial member: You can choose to pay a yearly membership fee after you fill out the form below. Our fees are small, but they help fund our local branches' activities.

Voting member: To get full voting rights, you must be a Financial member and be accepted by a local branch or relevant body. To become a Voting member, fill out the form below, follow the prompts to pay a membership fee and then contact your local branch.
