Sarah Hathway for Lara
Sarah Hathway is the Socialist Alliance candidate for the seat of Lara.
Sarah is a mum who lives in Corio and works in community mental health services as a social worker. She is a long-term socialist activist and was previously a Councillor for the City of Greater Geelong.
She says, “I’m sick of seeing migrants blamed for the spiraling cost-of-living rises and soaring house prices. The reality is that big business and weapons’ corporations are booming because the government is helping them out. The vulnerable communities, including First Nations people, LGBTIQA+ and those on welfare, are being left to fend for themselves.”
