2027 New South Wales state election

The current profits-first system ignores social need. From the overloaded health system to deteriorating school infrastructure to antiquated public transport, the public sector is being run into the ground.

Paula Corvalan, originally from Chile, is a qualified counsellor, advocate, and community relations specialist with deep experience across housing, education, and LGBTQIA+ rights. She is passionate about fostering inclusive, supportive communities and is also a proud mum to a young daughter.
Pip Hinman, a long-time anti-war activist, helped found the Sydney Anti-AUKUS Coalition and is active in the Palestine solidarity campaign. She is active in her local community, having helped halt the gas extraction licence over the Sydney CBD, for council democracy and to stop privatisation of green space.

Isaac Nellist is studying to become a primary school teacher. He is a journalist and photographer for Green Left and is active in housing and anti-poverty campaigns.

Ben Radford is a journalist with Green Left and has a background in town-planning and working in hospitality. He is involved in Latin American solidarity work, recently having spent two years reporting from Peru.
