Jim McIlroy
Jim McIlroy is a veteran socialist and movement activist, residing in Chippendale. He became involved in the anti-Vietnam War movement in the 1960s, and in many campaigns since then.
Jim joined the socialist movement in the 1970s, and has been deeply involved in Socialist Alliance since its founding in 2001. As a public servant, he was also a union delegate with the Community and Public Sector Union until his retirement.
Currently, he is involved in the Palestinian solidarity campaign, as well as other international solidarity movements, especially with Latin America.
