Indian student leader to visit Australia

The Summer School and Conference will take place from January 15-20 in Geelong, Victoria.

Sucheta De, President of the All India Students Association and former Student Union President of JNU will visit Australia in January for the Socialist Alliance Activist National Summer School and Conference.

 

The conference runs from January 15-20 and will take place at Geelong Trades Hall in Victoria. The Summer School is a four-day education program from Jan 15-18, followed by the Conference on Jan 18-20.

Registration

Registration for the Conference and Summer School is: $30 – unwaged; $60 – waged; $100 – solidarity; $15 – High School.

The closest airport is Avalon, and Geelong is accessible by train from Melbourne.

Childcare

Professional child care will be available at the conference. Parents must book childcare places ahead of time, by emailing the Socialist Alliance National Office at: national_office@socialist-alliance.org. A co-payment of $10 per child per day is payable at registration.
